IFGL Sponsors the Red Arrows display on the Isle of Man

IFGL is partnering with Manx Radio to bring the Red Arrows to the Isle of Man for the August Bank Holiday Weekend.

The display will take place in the skies above Douglas Bay on Saturday 28 August, beginning at 2.30pm.

The Red Arrows have been frequent visitors to the island in previous years but, with the cancellation of the TT for 2 years in a row because of Covid-19, they haven’t had a chance to visit. In fact, since the beginning of the pandemic, the display team has often been grounded and so this is a real coup for the Isle of Man.

Manx Radio will host commentary on the day from Red 10, the display team’s own commentator, on AM and FM.

IFGL’s Denzil Williams said: ‘At IFGL we recognise that we are part of the Isle of Man community and that, through sponsoring events like the Red Arrows display, there is much we can do to say “thank you” to the people of our island. Having the Red Arrows over on the long holiday weekend of 28th will provide terrific free entertainment for everyone who can find a good vantage point to watch.
